I know the check up's only ever take like 5 minutes no matter what office you go to, however they don't even give me time to ask questions before booting me out th...

A rant about finding a good OB-GYN: So we have this great hospital just a few blocks from our house. I was born there, along with all of my siblings, and my boyfriend and I know several people who work there. Perfect, right? Not so much. I'm due on monday and my doctor is advising that I have a c-section on tuesday.  He seems to be concerned with the fact that I"ve had no contractions yet and the babys head is still very high and hasn't decended.  He mentioned that my baby is probably too big ...

My old doctor just called me to let me know I failed the one hour glucose test by 5 points. My levels were 140 and they weren't supposed to be over 135. She said I had to call to schedule the 3 hour test. I don't want to do the 3 hour test primarily because I know it's going to make me sick. I knew ...

So, after six hours of regular contractions, which were getting closer together and stronger, we made it to the hospital. We walk in, and I get hurried to a room, still contracting. You can even see my entire torso contracting at this point. I'm walking fine, and functioning, cause like I said yeste...
