Sigh, we knew it was too good to be true -- data tethering has been removed from the Palm Pre's spec list on Sprint's site and replaced with a "connector" section. We don't know if Sprint's just trying to clean things up or if it muscled Palm into killing the feature in order to drive new Simply Eve...
