Another week, another fine selection here at the now-teetering-on-monthly Blu-ray Report. But in all seriousness, I am working on getting this one to you in a more timely manner, dear friends. It’s just become difficult with my recent move to Austin and new found alcoholism, among other things...

Milk Sean Penn won an Academy Award for his portrayal of openly gay San Francisco politician Harvey Milk, and Dustin Lance Black won another for his script, which focused on Milk's activist years in the 1970s. "It's a minor miracle of sheer film making joy and determination," wrote James Rocchi, "an...

Oh, man, the Brokeback Mountain girl is so broke and bankrupt that she's been forced to strip her clothes off for her latest starring role. Hopefully, Hollywood will get enough Plastic Surgery Stimulas Funds to help out desperate actresses like Michelle Williams enhance their pancake titties. No won...

"Hump Day Hotties" is back (Just pretend this piece arrived yesterday. Go with it!) Things have been quiet, at least in the US, when it comes to everyone's favorite Mexican Gael GarcÃa Bernal. The Golden Globes were pretty good ...merits aside, I am not happy about the idea of homophobic asshole Mickey Rourke winning this and possibly an Oscar based on Hollywood's love of the comeback (especially over Sean Penn), but it was downright shocking that Kate Winslet won both acting awards. ...
