In all honesty, none of this really needs much inspirational descriptions from us here, because, well, just look at the four tracks that the dudes in Mustard Pimp have decided to remix. Also, the original track from the duo, "Valium", is slithery and acid-tongued. (mp3)   Mustard Pimp - Valium...

A contest ends, another one begins. We're giving away a copy of Xbox 360 game Race Pro . Racing stripes make race cars go faster. Face it, they do. Just look at Race Pro's box art. Here's the contest: Put racing stripes on something — anything! Racing stripes on a phone? It goes faster. Racing...

Fake ports of modern games? Yeah, it's been done before. Same with cart labels. But someone stuck them on actual carts, which will be hilarious once the next yard sale rolls around. Redbeard Math Pirate on Flickr created 15, spanning the range of cart art on the Atari 2600 - original VCS, second gen...

Far from the "realistic"Ghostbusters game Terminal Reality is creating for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, let's take a look at what Nintendo Wii and DS players have to look forward to. I kind of like what developer Red Fly Studio has done for the Ghostbusters games for the Wii and PlayStation 2. Ra...

In 1990, Atari (the original Atari) were in bad shape. So they sold off their inventory of old cartridges. O'Shea Ltd bought them. All 3 million of them. They bought them so they could sell them on to you, the public. And where do they keep these millions of Atari cartridges? Why, in a 20,000-square...

NOTE: VIDEO IS PROBABLY NSFW DEPENDING ON HOW YOUR EMPLOYER FEELS ABOUT A GUY TREATING HIS JUNK LIKE AN ATARI JOYSTICK. Wow, I've seen it all now. And, quite frankly, I'm surprised I didn't see it earlier. (The Joydick is) a wearable haptic device for controlling video gameplay based on realtime mal...

Atari held tryouts at their Ready 2 Rumble Revolution booth to see who could pull off best "Let's Get Ready To Rumble!" impression. What better judge to have than the man himself. Atari reps screened over 100 applicants and thankfully only picked the 10 best to go head-to-head in front of the crowd....

It's hard to believe it has taken almost 25 years for someone to make a good Ghostbusters game. Thankfully, Atari came to the rescue and picked up this stranded title for us to finally enjoy. What It Is Ghostbusters: The Video Game is a 3rd-person action game written by none other than Dan Aykroyd (...

Six new screens are out there for The Witcher: Rise of the White Wolf. The RPG places you in a medieval world, hunting down monsters and sleuthing out your own mysterious past. That's the company line, anyhow. To me, I'd say the game involves David Carradine walking the earth looking for supernatura...

YouTube via gearwire"Gearwire's own Gretchen Hasse doesn't often venture in front of the Camera, but she's been so enamored of the GetLoFi Atari Punk Console 2.0 noise-box that she just had to share its baleful bleating with the world. Did I mention she's been sharing it with the office for the past...
