This morning after a bit of a struggle I was able to pull myself out of bed and head to the pool for 6am workout.  Now that I'm done with the workout I am glad I went.  Since one of the 7:15 fast swimmers came at 6 I was pushed the whole workout.  I needed that!  Warm Up3...

When I got to swim practice I was just beat.  I wanted to go home and sit on the couch and watch tv.  But I dragged myself to the pool and swam.  Started off pretty easy.  Swam and pulled about a 500ish.  I lost count but then moved on to kicking a very easy 400. ...

Just catching up on my RSS reading and I noticed that the SCAQ Blog and Kastaway Blog had posted a preview of the latest entry into the swim tech suit war, the Tracer Titan!  The swim tech suit war is starting to look like the men's shaving blade war.  Every couple of months someone ...

Next to knowing your swim times in a set like swimming 10x100's a swimmer should know his/her heart rate.  By knowing your heart rate  you will be able to know your training intensity and spot changes in your overall physical condition.  In training one should know the four cat...
