I’m doing some tests on my blog right now where I import delicous.com bookmarks using feedwordpress, in an attempt to find interesting and automatic ways to present my wonderful interweb finds. When I started blogging alot of my posts where classic web-logs, often just a link or two and perhap...

My goal is to watch 365 movies in 2009, and so far it’s looking pretty good, at least I am slightly ahead. Here is the list of movies I watched in februar, rated and sometimes commented. I hope you find something to watch… Tunnel rats (****) It is impressive that someone can still manage...

Last year I made an attemt at watching 365 movies in a year (and failed!) This year I’m trying a little trick to not fall behind, and so far it’s going pretty good, I have one day and one movie left to go to fill my “january movie quota”. Below you can see the complete list, ...

Ok, so I’ve finally lost my marbles. I’ve always had a “problem” with being deeply into alot of different things at the same time. When I was in highschool I even read a 12 volume encyclopedia from A to L (I probably got a girlfriend around L, hurrah). I’ve always been ...

I read about a lovely project yesterday on Inhabitat, where a team of Japanese guys and girls created some lovely solarpowered lights. When hung in trees, these lights only came on if there was wind (and dark enough I suppose). Some specs, in Japanese http://www.livingworld.net/essays/windlit2001-2/...

I came across a cool tutorial over at Instructables yesterday, for using an old AM/FM radio as an amplifier for your ipod or other portable audio device, and decided to give it a whirl. So this is the old radio I will use: Cool huh! It came with the house when we bought it from my childrens great gr...

Ok, so I didn’t make it. Boo hoo. I love watching movies, and I had an “ambition” of seeing 365 movies in 2008. I didn’t even come close. As the clock reached twelve and the new year arrived, I had only seen 185 movies. Here is the list, all rated and commented * = total wast...

Well, SOMEBODY has to! :) This is part of my new little project: Repairing things for me and for others. It is so easy to just throw stuff away when they no longer work, and often to expensive to take them to a repair shop, so I thought I would do my part for our planet by repairing as many things a...

I made this cute little vibrobot today, with some spare parts I had lying around. Got inspired by an old Makezine article, and decided to smack it together. It turned out pretty cool actually, it hums around like a happy little bug. I gave it a cute nose with a potentiometer, so when you twist the n...

I’ve been really hung up on circuit bending and toy hacking for a few weeks now, and thought I would give it a try. This is my first bend, I added one button to a broken radio controlled “beetle” that adds an interesting looping sound to it. In the video I first play a few of the n...
