Damn bitches blasted the Watchmen movie, Push, and The Spirit. I realize that Push isn’t based off of a comic, but if I hadn’t ignored the reviews, I probably would have missed out on some awesome action and storyline. Same goes for the Watchmen movie, the reviews were generally negative...

I’m back to using Google Analytics, this time I’m using a plugin, so if I switch themes I no longer have to manually add the code in. I built a really simple plugin that does this, but it was for work, so I couldn’t release it. Although, it would be nothing to rewrite it and releas...

I have plans on going to WordCamp Chicago and WordCamp Dallas (which is relatively closer). I’ll probably be staying at the cheapest hotel in the area and I’ll be driving. I thought about going to WordCamp New Orleans, but I might do that next year (Way too expensive and little too far)....

I always feel like I’m somehow betraying the WordPress community every time I speak the truth. The issue is that, when Matt speaks or any of the core developers, it is all happy joy, no problems here. It limits my credibility greatly to come back and say, “Well, no, it has this problem a...

I will be buying Visual Studio 2010 Professional when it comes out and I’ll actually want to start using it. The parts I want to focus on are C# and Python using the .NET and ADO.NET frameworks to develop Windows Services and GUI applications. I think it will become important to further my kno...

That isn’t to say that if there wasn’t a technique out there that actually worked, I wouldn’t jump on it, because I so totally would. It is to say that, because there is no technique out there that actually works (besides surgery that is dangerous and expensive) that I don’t ...

Perhaps I’m wrong with this, I don’t want to have my foot in my mouth, so I’m not going to mention very many people by name. Except for Matt Mullenweg, just wanted to plug his new domain for reasons I’m not entirely sure of. Well, or it could have been that I started this off...

The New-BSD WordPress Library I’m writing is now on Google Code, and I have a name for it, called CorePress. The name is tentative, because it matches too closely with the other -Presses, I want a new name for it, but that will probably come later. Right now the code name for it is CorePress. ...

The first time I tried to install it, I couldn’t get Cruise Control to work correctly. This time around, they have an installer, so that Windows users can’t screw it up. The instructions are a great deal more clear, so with a few minor tweaks, I was able to get phpUnderControl up and run...

I’m going to go for it. I’m going to spend $130 on a 1.5TB hard drive. I’m also going to use it to install Windows. Create an partition on it around 150 GB for Windows and another for other files. I think the problem will be eventually that I’ll have to reinstall Windows Vist...
