I've had my head down this week, there's been some exciting developments in the blogosphere. Congratulations to the folks at Upcoming.org, Weblogs, Inc. NetNewsWire, Wondir and Weblogs.com! I'm particularly happy for Dave, as he's been running Weblogs.com faithfully for many, many years out of his own pocket, and it's such an important part of the blogosphere.

From a DC perspective, this is also good news, as three out of the five deals means more of a blogging/RSS presence for the DC area (although I doubt Weblogs Inc. will move); in particular Verisign's Virginia office will be the home of their RSS-related work, as evidenced by these job openings (can't link directly, search for RSS here).
